Activ8 Coach - Certified Teacher/Goals Coach
Gregg Sales
My name is Gregg Sales. I have been a certified teacher for over 13 years creating programs for families and students dealing with the stress of school, family, relationships and social media. As a school counsellor, I have helped families deal with ADHD, anxiety, bullying, as well as navigating the difficult social situations faced by 6-18 year old students. I am a certified teacher and taught for 14 years with Sturgeon Public Schools, 8 of which were in a counselling and family liaison position. I administered standardized education testing (WIAT III) and made recommendations upon their results. I have seen kids and families overcome obstacles by following a collaborative problem solving approach in combination with positive behavior support. I have trained teachers in a number of programs such as the Neuro-sequential Model for Education, which looks at the effect of brain function on ADHD, anxiety and learning. I believe relationships are the most important ingredient when helping any individual, especially children and teens. The vision behind Activ8 is to help clients get the support they need in a personalized and focused way. Activ8 helps you attain your goals and prepares you to replicate the process.

Activ8 Coach - Educational Assistant and Mindfulness Coach
Candice Johnston
My name is Candice Johnston. I have been an Educational Assistant for the last eight years. I have experience working with all age groups of kids with a wide range of needs. As an EA I spent most of my time helping kids with trauma, autism, Tourette's and other behavioral issues. I obtained my Trauma Informed Care Certificate and Non Violent Crisis Intervention which prepared me for the needs of students dealing with the demands of school, relationships and life in general. After my experiences with kids, I felt that they were missing a deeper balance of mind, body and spirit. While working at Sturgeon I found success encouraging mindfulness and building relationships

"I have had the pleasure of working with Gregg for the past 1.5years. In his role as the counsellor in Grades K-4 he showed exemplary skill at connecting and building relationships with the students, staff and families in his school. He took the initiative in building positive programming to support students in regulation, social and emotional learning competencies, counselling and developing positive collaborations with the school and broader community."
Colleen Hall
